Christmas is coming…
So the other morning I was getting ready for work when I noticed something was different… something was missing. Then I realized that I my shadow was missing- Bruin wasn’t following close at my heels. Oh, he must just be outside, I thought. A few minutes later I looked down through the laundry room and could see his shadow through the opaque doggy door. He had a huge branch in his mouth and was trying without success to jump through the doggie door with his large discovery. However, as you know, it’s hard to fit something long through a small opening without turning it. Well I just went about my day and he came in and played for a while. That evening Doug and I were sitting in our living room and not paying much attention to what our precious puppy was getting into. So when I walked into the kitchen I was surprised to see that he had been successful at bringing in this tree from outside! Okay well I’m not really sure what it used to be but it’s about 4 feet long and looks like a small tree. So I figured Bruin is just ready to decorate for Christmas. Since he heard we are probably not going into the mountains to find our tree this year he decided to take measures into his own hands and bring us what he could find from our yard.
Well given the trees under 7 feet that we found a couple years ago he’s not too far off from what we found in the forest
Ah, fun times in the life of a puppy…

You are not going to the mountains for a tree this year?
Looks like Bruin is going to have a Charlie Brown Christmas. He is so cute!
So Bruin is no longer a small puppy. Looks like he is taking things into his own paws.
Not going to the mountain? Could this be due to the rain or old age? ha ha. Looking forward to next months visit.
Very cute story! Aidan loved hearing me reading it too, and loves to see pictures of your cute “puppy” hopefully the boys will get to meet him sometime. Maybe you can bring him up for a visit sometime
Love you guys!
