A time to be thankful…

Published by Douglas at 12:27 am under Photo Galleries, Family, Doug's Post

Well another Thanksgiving has gone by and another great time to be thankful for family…  It seems to be becoming somewhat of a tradition of food, fun, games and a photo shoot. The fun and games were very enjoyable. I think our streak ended at about 6 hours with hardly moving (well, maybe except to grab another slice of pie). We played a whole slew of games from Carcassonne to Ticket to Ride and Pirates Cove to a few card games. Being that these are some of our favorites the time passed much to quickly.  We finally found ourselves staring at the clock which read 10:20 pm wondering if we should squeeze one more game in.

As expected we had a whole smorgasbord of food prepared with all the ham a guy could want. Oh yes, there was the regular traditional Turkey Day fixings, but I would have been content if just ham was served. But the time was all the better with having family around to enjoy each other.

So if you are interested in the Gregg, Easterly, Volz, or Rowley families you can check out a few of the pictures, which even though we all say they will, won’t end up on the picture wall in the dinning room: Click a pic to see the whole set at Flickr:

Hey there you two! I’m sorry it’s been so long, when we scrubbed our desktop I lost all my links & have had a hard time remembering my favorites. But I got you now. :) Glad you had a good holiday & I bet you’re really looking forward to a great 1st anniversary!!!!!
