Yellowstone trip

Published by Carol at 2:27 pm under Carol's Post

The day school was out, Doug and I packed up our CR-V and the little trailer it pulls, dropped Bruin off at Doug’s sister’s house, and headed east. We spend a week exploring Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. We had a wonderful time! The days were beautiful and sunny, the nights were COLD, but improved over the week. Our first night camping we were SO cold all night - even our memory foam pillows were frozen solid. But we wore more layers to bed, and added more blankets to our bed and were doing much better the rest of the week. We didn’t spend much time at our campsites as we were out exploring almost all the time! Yellowstone is a beautiful, diverse, unique park that we enjoyed. I’ll include a few pictures here, with a link to more on flickr. The pictures up so far are some of the good ones from my camera… Doug has a lot of other pics that look much more professional to share later :)

    Doug and Carol

Those are fantastic pictures! Although I’m a bit curious as to what the Triangle X picuture is? Even though I’m not a camper, it looks and sounds like you had a fantastic trip! Enjoy the rest of your summer. It was good to see both of you last weekend!
