Hello to my loyal blog readers… those of you who still check in about once a week, or hey - even once a month, though we haven’t posted in nearly 4 months! I just wanted to let you know that we are alive and well here. Things are going great in our household. We just returned from a week long Caribbean cruise on the Carnival Glory and I got to spend my birthday snorkeling through some amazing coral in Roatan, Honduras. It was the best snorkeling I’ve done in a really long time! We had lots of other fun adventures too as we stopped in Cozumel, Mexico; Belize City, Belize; and Freeport, Bahamas. The itinerary was changed on us a bit due to the hurricanes at the beginning of September, but I enjoyed all of our stops, though Roatan was my favorite and Freeport was my least favorite. We were so blessed to have beautiful weather during hurricane season! I have to say that I will post some pictures of that trip, so that I’ll actually have to do it soon! I have to organize my pictures for a scrapbooking weekend soon anyway… so this will just put me closer to that target as well! We were quite shocked upon returning to rainy cold Washington! I don’t think it’s gotten above 55 this week… talk about cold compared to the beautiful 85 degree Caribbean with a real feel of over 100 due to humidity! Oh well… at least we enjoyed the week - immensely! School has started again as well… and it is insanely busy this year due to a severe staffing shortage. But, I’m only working 3 days/week this year so that makes it so much more livable and way less stressful. It’s never good when you wake up dreading your job every day, and that was about the point I was at last year, so this change is very welcomed and I am so blessed to have a wonderful husband who supports me in my desire to not work full time. Well I wanted to post a little teaser here I will be posting again soon with some fun pictures and other things… it’s just that it’s already gotten so late and I must head to bed! I will be back again soon… and I promise it won’t take me 4 months this time! And here are just 3 photos from our trip… more to come!
