Looking forward to Easter…
Not to leave you all hanging, but I have been super busy since I last posted! I haven’t had time to look through my pictures or edit and upload them. However, I though I would post some exciting news… perhaps this will tide you over until I get those pictures posted! Many of you that I’ve seen recently already know this, and I couldn’t post earlier as I had to make sure I told several people in person before sharing this news with the whole world… Doug and I are expecting our first baby in March (March 20th is the estimated due date)! I will be 17 weeks along on Thursday, so I’m feeling pretty safe sharing this information now! I’ll go ahead and answer the questions that always follow that announcement for you all… yes, we are planning to find out the sex (if the little one cooperates!) - around Thanksgiving this year when I’ll be 22 weeks. And no, I haven’t started planning the nursery. Oh, and no, we haven’t decided on names yet - we still have 5 months to go! We are so thrilled to be adding to our family… the dog was a great addition, but we are ready for a little Easterly baby - perhaps on Easter (as Easter is only 3 days after I’m due!)! I didn’t realize that until just now… How perfect would that be?
We have been ready for a while, but the timing was not up to us, apparently! As with all things, Doug and I are trusting in God and his plan for our lives as we look forward to the life change that is coming our way. This child is truely a blessing from the Lord and we just can’t wait to meet him or her!

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYY!!! Can’t wait to meet your little one too! Keep us updated! Can’t wait to find out if you have a son or a daughter! So exciting!!!
I’m soooo excited for you guys! And glad we don’t have to keep it a secret anymore
Are you feeling any better? Hope so! Cant wait to see pictures of your little one, bless you!
Wow, congratulations!! I was hoping this would happen soon for you two!!
I’m going to have to stop by more often! If I can help with any pregnancy/birth/baby questions, let me know. It’s kind of a hobby, like Jenni!
RYC - yes, “sleeping through the night” is considered sleeping 5 hours in one stretch & is normal at this age. In fact, Will was sleeping an 8-12 hour stretch at 5 months! However, Nina is my little reality check because she didn’t sleep more than 4 hours until maybe a year old.
Congratulations!
I have been checking almost daily– forever it seems like to see if you had updated. Today Susan told me you had put the expected ‘”little one” info on your blog. I had checked after work and still had the Yellowstone blog from Doug come up. I had not been checking Carol’s blog and had not seen the one after your cruise either. I guess I’m not as computer savvy as I thought I was.
Have fun with your scrapbooking. I finally finished the scrapbook on our Hawaii trip this past weekend.
It is the first trip I have actually done as a scrapbook. I have usually just made an album of pictures.
Take care.
Love,
Mom and Dad Rolley
Congrats to you both! I hope that you enjoy being pregnant, it is such an amazing time for you both. I am so very happy for you guys!
