Busy busy busy…
Obviously our blog has been rather abandoned this summer. We’ve been quite busy, my computer has been acting up and only working half the time, and I’ve just been enjoying lots of things other than blogging… but I know there are some of you that are picture deprived and Amina is growing up quickly! So I’ll try to get some pictures up soon. Here’s just a list of some of the things we’ve done over the past two months: my parents came to visit for a week, Doug’s parents came home from Sudan and met Amina, we went to Ocean Shores for family camp, traveled to Spokane, went to the ocean south of Westport, went to Canada (White Rock - just over the border), Doug moved the front door of our house, we went pseudo-camping at a nice cabin near Mount Saint Helens for 5 days, and we just got back from Yakima. Whew… no wonder I’m tired and the house is such a mess! Doug has to go back to work tomorrow after a wonderful 4 weeks off for paternity leave. We have one more weekend trip planned and then life should start to get back to normal. We’ve had lots of fun though with this break from the norm! I’ll get some pictures up on here over the next couple of weeks and can tell you a little more about all the fun we’ve been having!

Sounds like you’ve been having a great time this summer. It’s wonderful that Doug is able to take some time off and enjoy the family! I can’t wait to see the pictures! I’m dying to see how Amina has changed. I’ll be checking back often. Maybe now that things are getting back to normal, you and Amina can get some rest.

Sure good to hear from you on the blog. I called last night but guess you had the phone off. Sounds like you’all had a great time as a family. Doug you need to back to work so you can rest!!! How can things get back to normal with a five and a half month old new baby.

Wow! I’m impressed, you guys have really had a full summer! But I can honestly say, with four children five and under, I am not jealous of your schedule! We had a great time camping for a week and a half and that was about all I think I could handle this summer. So good to see you back on your blog, we are really looking forward to some more pictures of your precious little girl, I bet you are having a blast watching her grow! Bless you guys!
