Our Waddler…
It’s official… After three months on all fours our little girl took her first unaided step today!!! As many of you know she has been standing unaided for awhile now upwards to 30 seconds at a time.
Well as Carol and I looked on today Amina Grace leveraged herself up off of Carol’s leg into a standing position… She wavered there for a few seconds then… Drum Roll please… She took a step forward maintaining her balance standing…
So officially on December 3rd, 2008 our little baby is a waddler…

Yeah! Way to go Amina, I knew by the looks of how confidently she was standing a couple weeks ago that she would be walking very soon! Yeah
Just in time to destroy the Christmas tree!!!! Watch out mom and dad, there is a whole new world out there for her now 
How exciting! I guess she is taking after her Mom. (Carol walked alone when she was 9 months old and we thought she would do everything late because she only weighed 4 pounds 2 ounces when she was born) Life will become very interesting now that she is more mobile. Can’t wait to see her “waddling” in a couple of weeks. Yeah.
She’ll be a runner before you know it…watch it!
