3 Kinds of People…
There are those that don’t, those that do, and those that say they would but never get around to it. Well, I used to be among those that don’t, I then became one that said I would and now I’m one of those that do!
Last night I took the plunge and finally got around to taking dancing lessons. I guess that after going dancing with Carol off and on for the last 6 month it was time to swing my way over to The Rockin’ Horse Dance Barn for some East Coast Swing lessons. Now Sabrina can probably witness to the fact that my dancing skills have not been the best in the past, good old MC’s, but for some reason I’m not doing that bad with this Swing thing. At least I did not step on any toes last night!
I guess that I owe it all to Carol for getting me out on the floor. It all goes back to the first time that we went dancing on November 24, 2004. Now this was only one week after the first day that I took her out for coffee. At that point my judgment was probably really weakened as for some reason I really wanted to get to know Carol more, even though we clearly understood that it was only on the terms of “friendship”. Little did I know that 6 months later our friendship would progress to where it is today. But when she said back then that she was going to go swing dancing I ended up tagging along against all better judgment.
So, it’s been a fun, I’ve been experiencing new things, learning to share my life and enjoying to continue to get to know Carol more and more. Funny what guys will do when they get smitten…
