After being MIA for about 2 months, we’ve decided start blogging again, at least for now :)? So maybe you’re wondering what’s been going on with us?? Well the start of the school year was an extremely busy time for me this year.? I am now working at 2 schools and started the year with about 15 more kids than I started last year with… which has kept me quite busy.? But I’ve left plenty of time for fun during my non-work time.? :)? Doug and I took a fun trip to Mazatlan for a long weekend over my birthday at the end of September.? It was perfect!? It was very hot there, but I loved spending my birthday weekend swimming in the warm ocean and? sitting by the pool reading a good book.? On the home front we have still been enjoying our rapidly growing puppy.? He’s such a good and obidient dog.? I didn’t realize how much of a dog person I was until actaully owning a dog.? We’re also very excited to have Doug’s sister Brenda, along with her husband Scott and their 5 kids home from Africa for a few months.? They’ve been home a couple of weeks now and are expecting a precious baby girl in a few weeks.? ? So I’ll leave this short update with a beautiful picture from our trip to Mexico…

Mazatlan looks like a beautiful place for a vactaion. Loved the sunset. It will probably take a while to get comments, we have gotten tired of looking for an update!

Hey! Glad to see you’re still alive and kicking! I didn’t realize you were going on a trip for your birthday! Looks like you had a blast. Can’t wait to see you two at Christmas time. Tell Brenda and her family congrats for us! You’ll have to bring pictures of the newest addition.
